We’re pleased to introduce you to the programs and services available in our residence halls – your “home away from home.” Our staff will work hard to help you succeed academically at the university.

You are welcome to share your ideas. As part of a group, you will be able to plan programs – recreational, educational, and cultural – from which you and others can benefit. Just as families share responsibilities and show consideration, so do members of a residence hall community. You must respect other residents of your hall, be considerate of their study and sleeping needs, and do your part to keep the hall clean and safe. The more you contribute to your hall community, the more you will get out of your residence hall experience.

Residence Life Mission Statement

The mission of the Residence Life program, in order to suport the academic endeavors of the residence halls students, is to provide a safe, structurally sound, and accepting living learning environment through educational programming and personal contact.

Highlights of on-campus living

Top reasons why on-campus living is the SMART choice...

Chancellor’s Message

Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Superior, and welcome to your “home away from home” in our campus residence halls.Living on campus is an important — and fun — part of going to college. I encourage you to take full advantage of it.

Your residence hall offers one of the best opportunities you’ll ever have to meet people from around the Midwest, around the country and around the world. It’s a good place to make new friends and build a social life.

The residence halls also offer an excellent opportunity to get to know your university and the many services available to support you.

Your resident assistant, hall director and the Residence Life staff are always available to answer your questions, help you solve problems or direct you to a university office that can provide assistance.

Many alumni tell us their fondest memories of UW-Superior include the lifelong friendships they made with their roommates and other people they met in the residence halls. I hope you’ll find your stay here to be just as enjoyable.
