Each hall has a front desk to serve you. The desk is open varied hours during the day. (Service is discontinued or limited during break periods). At your front desk, you can:

• purchase pizzas
• buy ice cream
• check out pool balls, games or kitchen supplies

 

Laundry Areas

Laundry facilities are conveniently located in each hall basement.

 

Specialty Common Areas

A variety of shared spaces include: kitchens, study lounges, vending machine areas, TV lounges, exercise areas, and more.

 

Cleaning

The custodial staff does a great deal to make your hall a more comfortable and pleasant place in which to live. Your cooperation in caring for the facilities will make their job much easier and will create a pleasant atmosphere.

You are responsible for cleaning your room. Vacuum cleaners, light bulbs, and wastebasket liners are available at your front desk.

 

Maintenance

Residence Life hires maintenance workers to make sure things are working properly in the halls. Please contact your RA to complete a work order if something needs fixing in your room. A request for maintenance indicates your permission for a maintenance worker to enter your room.

 

Telephones

All rooms are equipped with one telephone jack and local telephone service. You provide your own telephone. You and your roommate share the same telephone number.

 

Refrigerators

Refrigerators (2 c.ft) are available for rent for $15/semester. Microfridges (refrigerator/ microwave combination (3 c.ft) are available for rent for $30/semester. Specific times will be set at your front desk for refrigerator rental after you have checked into the hall. Students are responsible for transporting the refrigerator between their room and storage, and for cleaning the refrigerator before returning it. No refunds are given on refrigerator rentals.

 

Loft Rental
